Easy Share Button Services For Websites
Image: FreeDigitalPhotos.net

Of course it is always great when people want to share your content on Social Networks or other Online Communities. And I think it is very important to make it as easy as possible for them share content quickly. Therefore I always have Share Buttons available on all my websites, on every page.

Now a Share Button is a button you can press on to easily share the page you are on via different services. The two Share Button Services I mainly use are AddThis and ShareThis. I use them because they are easy to install and work really well.

ShareThis is great because it is very easy to choose and install a specific Share Service Button on your website, like a button for StumbleUpOn or Pinterest for instance. Which is perfect if you prefer people to share your content via specific networks or communities.

Above are three examples of ShareThis Buttons for StumbleUpOn, Digg and Reddit. To share this page, simply click on the button where you want to share the content and follow the directions.

Bookmark and Share

Now AddThis is perfect if you want a small discrete Share Button with all services on your website/page. And above is an example of the AddThis button I mainly use. To choose a place to share this page, simply stand on the button with the mouse pointer and all available service will appear. You can also type in a specific service in the search field if you can't find it among the first services that are shown.

So these are the Share Button Services I use, and have used, for several years. Both services are of course FREE. Once you have signed up and installed a Share Button to your website, statistics will also be available in your account. There you can see where your content have been shared, how many times it has been shared and how many clicks that have come through via the Share Button. And the only thing you need to do to install these Share Buttons is simply to cut and paste some code into your website's HTML. So simply follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

To find out more and/or sign up proceed to --> ShareThis and/or --> AddThis.

Good Luck! :-)
