I have tried many free online counters for websites through the years, so I thought I would share some examples in this post. Now I mainly use Google Analytics to keep track of my website statistics and visitors. But I have installed a free online counter on my index pages to be able to see how many visitors who are currently online. The counter I use today on my websites is Free Online Users, a very simple counter really. Because it just shows how many users who are currently online.

All of the counters I have mentioned here have worked well for me. The reason I use Free Online Users nowadays is because it is easy to install and discretely shows off the current online user numbers on my websites. Which fit my needs great at the moment.
